UH Manoa Student Housing provides students with a variety of choices of living arrangements including apartments and traditional coed facilities, single and double occupancy rooms, and suite units. The housing program is designed to create a safe and friendly atmosphere for the residents. However, residents are expected to respect and care for the facilities and equipment rented to them, and are required to conduct themselves in a responsible manner. Specific rules and regulations intended to protect the rights of individuals have been developed by the University administration, residential staff, and student leaders. Each resident is responsible to know and observe these rules and regulations.
