The Hale Aloha Complex offers a traditional First Year Experience in which students reside in a co-ed residence hall with 260 residents in double occupancy rooms and community bathrooms on each floor. The towers of the Hale Aloha Complex will aid students with their transition into University life by offering environments for studying and socializing through lounges on the ground floor, the rooftop and community lounges within the buildings. In addition to these amenities, Hale Aloha offers game rooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, cable and internet access in each room, close proximity to the cafeteria and sports facilities, and a community desk where students receive mail, check out keys and other items such as: sports equipment, games, vacuums, kitchen utensils, and much more.
Since students in Hale Aloha will experience residence hall living for the first time, Student Housing Services provides a live-in professional staff member for each building and a Resident Advisor who resides on each floor. The hall staff are a resource for students and are committed to offering a variety of involvement opportunities and activities such as: Hall Community Councils, educational opportunities, and hall-wide social events.
